Welcome to Reina's Place! I am glad that you are here to take a look at my space. I hope to have here something or some things for you and if not than for someone else you may know. Before you leave, please take a minute to sign my guestbook. You can read about me or events in my life in "What's Happening". As you can see I have added a translator to my page. It does work. The translations may not be perrfect, but it fulfills its purpose. Just give it a try. I speak Dutch, German and some French myself. I have also added a radio, so you can listen to music while you are here. Simply choose which station and it will be played. There is a quick mix available to play music randomly. I have created my own stations and you can do the same if you like. You can blog here by categories. If you would like me to start another category simply let me know. Deployment to Kuwait! (2) My husband finally left on Tuesday, the 4th. Planned family time was from 6.00 am - 9-00 am.

Why Don't You Care? A good friend of mine is going through depression. I was disappointed when my two small requests to call me were ignored and my phone calls were not answered. I needed to express my disappointment and here it is.

Deployment to Kuwait! (1) Four more days and then it is time once again for my husband to leave us for 15 months. This time he will be going to Kuwait. It is not only hard for those that are deploying, but for us, spouses, children and family members, it is hard aswell.

I just wanted to stop by and say hi and to offer up some support and encouragement. I just returned home from visiting my youngest daughter and my 3 youngest grandchildren. They were transferred to Scott AFB in Illinois last summer. They got into their new housing in December right before Trent's 3rd deployment on New Year's Day. ( he is in Qatar this time) Even with his deployments not as long as other branches of the military, it's still very hard on the family that is left at home. Katie has never been this far from her family before, so I went out to help her and love on her as only a mother can. The time was much too short and just as I was starting to actually like Illinois, it was time to come back to the Pacific Northwest. (Washington) Umbrella

Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I will be praying for you, your husband and your family. I will stop by often to see how things are going. Smile
